A Study On Branded Men's Wear |
|
The apparel industry is one of India’s largest foreign exchange earners, accounting for 12% of the country’s total exports. Garment manufacturing is one of the most fragmented sectors of the Indian textile industry. The garment industry comprises of manufacturers of ready-made garments for either the domestic or export markets or, in certain cases, both. The constituents of this segment are very diverse in terms of their size, production facility, the type of apparel manufactured, the quality of output, fabric requirement, price sensitivity etc. The segment is extremely fragmented, with an estimated 27,000 domestic manufacturers, 48,000 fabricators (job contractors) and around 1000 manufacturer-exporters. This is an industry with no visibility of data in an organized sense. So, the figures quoted are more of industry estimates rather than of any organized research. The apparel segment on a whole is estimated to be Rs. 40,000 crores (Rs 400 billion) and of that the branded apparel segment is estimated to be Rs 9,000 crores (Rs 90 billion). |

Influencing the physician is key to pharmaceutical sales. This paper explores Indian pharmaceutical marketing system , physicians expectations from pharmaceutical company and the major factors that influence a physician for prescribing a product of a particular company. A Survey of 100 physicians from 10 districts of Haryana was done to meet out the objectives. A close ended questionnaire was prepared and got it filled from the chosen physicians. Good quality, widely available product at reasonable price is foremost expectation of physician from pharmaceutical company. A regular visit by good personality medical representative is best tool of promotion for a pharmaceutical company. Literatures, journals and sponsorship for conferences are preferable promotion tools in comparison to organization of free camps, personal gifts, medicine samples or any other incentive. Physicians can easily recall short brand name related to molecule disease or organization.

A Study on the Distribution of One Way Packs
of Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages in Vijayawada City |
|
The manufacturing of soft drinks began in the 1830’s. However, the evolution of soft drinks took place over a much longer time period. The forerunners of soft drinks began more than 2,000 years ago when Hippocrates, the “Father of Medicine,” first suspected that mineral waters could be beneficial to our well-being. The soft drink industry was a seasonal business in the early days, operating primarily during the summer months. Gradually, demand grew for soft drinks to be consumed in the home. Automatic vending machines began to appear in the 1920’s, once again changing the business of soft drinks. Vending machines and fountain dispensers led the way to the expansion of soft drinks to industrial
outlets.

New Age Manager - A Conceptual Study |
|
The desire, the will, the deed and the destiny is the one and only for a young management student i.e., the future manager. Entrepreneurial quality is a rare one with initiative, daring and resourcefulness. It is not necessarily inborn; often many imbibe it. But more entrepreneurs are merely ambitious without the wherewithal to meet the changes of entrepreneurship. Thus, the person turns out to be a successful manager who will be having great expectations-a great risk indeed, but not jumping into the bandwagon of business without any preparation. |
