Dear Readers, I
bring to you the March 13 issue of Indian Journal of
Marketing. I am sure that like its predecessors, this
issue will also deliver a basket full of cognitive
inputs to our proficient readers. The current issue has
six research papers contributed by excellent authors,
who have touched upon interesting developments and
applications pertaining to diverse areas of Marketing.
Readers would be happy to know that in addition to the Index Copernicus
Impact Value (the Index Copernicus Value, which is based on a 10-point
scale, assigned a value of 5.09 to Indian Journal of Marketing, Indian Journal
of Finance and Prabandhan: Indian Journal of Management), we have also received
the NAAS Rating for our three titles - Indian Journal of Marketing,
Indian Journal of Finance, and Prabandhan: Indian Journal of Management.
National Academy of Agricultural Sciences (NAAS, A Govt. of India Institute) is
a think tank that rates research journals on the following parameters:
Timeliness, Editorial Content, International Diversity in Publications, National
Diversity in Publications, Citation Metrics, Editorial Policies, Peer Review
Process, Online Processing of Manuscripts, Online Availability of the Journal,
Abstracting services in which the Journal is covered, and Paid National and
International Subscriptions (Circulation). Indian Journal of Marketing received
a rating of 4.3 (out of 10); Indian Journal of Finance received a rating of 3.4
(out of 10) and Prabandhan: Indian Journal of Management received a rating of
4.2 (out of 10). Receiving a rating from a ranking system further cements the
position of our titles as such a system provides a multi-parameter analysis of
scientific output, research potential and is an evaluation of a Journal's
quality.
The Digital Edition of Indian Journal of Marketing, Indian Journal of Finance
and Prabandhan: Indian Journal of Management was launched with the aim of
maximizing the impact of our publications as increased accessibility greatly
improves research dissemination, and optimizes readership, citation and
submission. The Digital Edition of our titles for the year 2012 will be
available soon. We fervently hope that the Digital Edition of Indian Journal of
Marketing, Indian Journal of Finance and Prabandhan : Indian Journal of
Management receives an overwhelming response from our esteemed patrons, and we
