On behalf of the Management, the Editorial Board, and the Editorial Team of Indian Journal of Marketing, Indian Journal of Finance, Prabandhan: Indian Journal of Management, Arthshastra Indian Journal of Economics & Research, and Indian Journal of Research in Capital Markets, I would like to wish all authors, patrons, and readers of our journals a very happy, harmonious, and prosperous New Year 2015.

Readers would be excited to know that we have launched a new (our fifth journal) and exclusive journal on Capital Markets - Indian Journal of Research in Capital Markets (ISSN 2394 - 3459). The first issue was released in December 2014. The aim of the journal is to provide a platform to researchers, practitioners, academicians, and professionals associated with the field of Capital Markets. 2014 was another good year for Indian Journal of Marketing, Indian Journal of Finance, Prabandhan: Indian Journal of Management, and Arthshastra Indian Journal of Economics & Research. With 2014, Arthshastra Indian Journal of Economics & Research completed its third year of publication, and has established itself as a leading journal of Economics in India. Our journals continue to enjoy a pan India reach and an excellent international presence. Our publications have a subscriber base that is unparalleled by any other journal in the field of Business Management in India.

We welcomed the following seven eminent members into our Editorial Boards in 2014 : Prof. Shiva Nandan, Prof. S. P. Bansal, and Prof. Moli P. Koshy joined the Editorial Board of Indian Journal of Marketing ; Prof.M. Rammohan Rao and Prof. Jinsang Lee joined the Editorial Board of Indian Journal of Finance; and Prof. Upendra Kachru and Prof. Ashok Aima joined the Editorial Board of Prabandhan: Indian Journal of Management.

In 2014, Indian Journal of Marketing and Indian Journal of Finance completed 2 years of being indexed in Elsevier's Scopus. The Index Copernicus Values for the year 2013 also increased; ICV assigned a value of 7.12 to Indian Journal of Marketing (previous value: 6.47), 7.10 to Indian Journal of Finance (previous value: 6.45), and 6.93 to Prabandhan: Indian Journal of Management (previous value: 6.30) using the parameters described in the Index Copernicus Evaluation Methodology, 2013. Arthshastra Indian Journal of Economics & Research also received its first Index Copernicus Value (ICV, 2013 = 5.31). The NAAS Rating (ranking given by the National Academy of Agicultural Sciences (a Govt. of India institution)) for our journals for 2014 is as follows: 3.89 for Indian Journal of Marketing, 3.76 for Indian Journal of Finance, and 2.58 for Prabandhan : Indian Journal of Management (each on a scale of 10). These indexing and ratings show the recognition of the quality maintained by our titles on a global level.

Our journals have continued to expand in terms of publishing high-quality double blind peer-reviewed papers and have attracted a larger global audience of authors, academicians, research investigators, and scholars. We have further raised the standards of our journal and have become more rigorous in accepting papers. Hence, in 2014, we published 55 papers in Indian Journal of Marketing, 49 papers in Indian Journal of Finance, 51 papers in Prabandhan: Indian Journal of Management, and 26 papers in Arthshastra Indian Journal of Economics & Research written by authors whose primary affiliations included different institutions from India and abroad. In total, we published 185 papers in IJM, IJF, PIJM, AIJER, and IJRCM in 2014.

Our aim since the beginning has been to maintain our integrity and increase the reputation of our journals, and our consistent efforts are aimed towards increasing the visibility, impact, editorial cycle time, and the overall quality of our journals. In 2014, we observed an increasing trend in citations coupled with a decreasing trend in the number of papers published in our journals.

I hope our readers and patrons share a similar vision, and we look forward to a productive, challenging, and a successful 2015 ahead. We also hope that our esteemed readers, patrons, and authors will continue to support us by reading, discussing, recommending, citing our journals, and submitting high-quality manuscripts. In the spirit of continuous improvement, any constructive input on streamlining our processes is very welcome.

With Best Wishes and Season's Greetings,
Mrs. Satya Gilani
