Abstract

This concise booklet deals with the ways and means of making the exploitation of natural resources safe, efficient and ecologically sustainable. The linkages between the geological factors in exploitation and process; technologies, economics, employment, environment and stakeholder communities are elucidated in a lucid fashion.
